Green Vibrance is a green drink designed to function as a total health solution.
Its purpose is to supply the healthiest components of fruit, vegetable, herbal, and probiotic sources, without the bulk associated with these foods in their natural state.
Green Vibrance is virtually non-caloric, containing only 40 calories per serving. This means it’s a great addition to your diet–you don’t have to substitute any meals or cut out other foods.
Our research team tested over 20 drinks, and although Green Vibrance is a solid option, it was not in our top 3.

Ingredients
The nutrition label of Green Vibrance is a sight to behold–unlike some of its other competitors, who conceal the amount of each ingredient in their blend by combining things into “proprietary blends,” Green Vibrance lists the amount of each individual ingredient, so you know exactly what you’re taking.
The ingredients list shows how comprehensive of a product Green Vibrance is; it’s divided into ten different categories, including probiotics, plant micronutrients, antioxidants, fiber, and cereal grasses.
Each of these categories has good reasoning behind its inclusion, and play into the benefits of Green Vibrance: a total all-around boost to your body’s well-being, both short term and long term.
The green drink also includes a fairly impressive range of vitamins and minerals, mostly derived from its ingredients. A few, like vitamin D3, are added specifically, though they are still from natural sources (lichen oil, in the case of vitamin D3).
Benefits
Given how many ingredients there are in Green Vibrance, the benefits have to be approached by category.
The cereal grasses, all certified organic, are strong candidates for boosting your resistance to chronic disease. Several of them, like wheat grass and barley grass, have been studied for their anti-cancer, anti-oxidant, and anti-arthritis capabilities.
According to a 2012 review article from researchers at the International Institute of Herbal Medicine in India, a wealth of scientific research testifies to the therapeutic potential of wheatgrass and other cereal grasses: they suppress tumor growth, fight inflammation associated with arthritis, and reduce the harm done by radical oxygen species, which can harm DNA and is associated with aging and cancer.
The blend of micronutrients from plant ingredients is fairly comprehensive, which means that it will fare well when compared to the benefits of other green drinks.
According to a 2011 systematic review article published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition, fruit and vegetable concentrates are associated with many of the same measurable biological benefits of consuming real fruits and vegetables (1).
Namely, they increase your body’s natural levels of antioxidants, reduce DNA damage, and improve immune system function.
One notable benefit of Green Vibrance is that the green tea extract is decaffeinated–this means that you’re still getting the antioxidant and health benefits of standard green tea extract (thanks to the presence of the EGCSs) but you aren’t getting the caffeine jolt. As a result, you can take Green Vibrance in the evening or before bed, if you wish.
In terms of more immediate boosts to your health and well-being, Green Vibrance includes a category of chemicals called adaptogens, which are compounds that help attenuate your body’s acute response to stressful situations.
A 2005 scientific study in the journal Phytotherapy Research, which included analysis of some of the same adaptogens present in Green Vibrance, concluded that even a single dose can increase mental performance and reduce the body’s stress response for several hours after administration (2).
The probiotic blend is also very impressive. Green Vibrance contains no less than twelve probiotic strains intended to boost your gastrointestinal health and reduce any GI symptoms like bloating or abdominal discomfort. The majority of the probiotic strains in Green Vibrance are derived from fermented dairy products, as evidenced by most of them bearing the lactobacillus prefix.
According to a 2009 scientific article by researchers in Belgium, Lactobacillus genus probiotics have solid evidence for their use when it comes to reducing gastrointestinal symptoms, and may also be useful at decreasing constipation and increasing stool softness, though the evidence is more conflicting (3).
The vitamin D content is not to be overlooked, either.
The amount is impressive–at 1000 IUs, the level of vitamin D supplied by Vibrant Greens is much higher than many other supplements, and may even be enough to keep your vitamin D levels high in northern latitudes in the winter.
As described in a 2004 scientific article by Michael Holick, vitamin D deficiency (which is quite prevalent among otherwise healthy adults) is associated with an increased risk of cancer, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, and low bone density (4).
More emerging research is beginning to uncover associations between vitamin D deficiency and mood disorders too, though more research is needed (5).
The presence of vitamin D in Green Vibrance offers a distinctive health advantage, especially if you live in northern climates or have darker skin (since people with darker skin have a harder time synthesizing vitamin D when exposed to sunlight).
How to use
Like other green drinks with active bacterial cultures, it is best to store Green Vibrance in a cool cupboard, and only mix it when you are about to drink it.
Because it’s decaffeinated, feel free to drink it at any time throughout the day. Since it’s very low in calories and fairly low in fiber, it won’t be a great meal replacement, but this also means you can down it at any time during the day.
Recap
Among green drinks, Vibrant Greens is a decent option. Its comprehensive ingredients list allows you to know exactly what you’re consuming and in what amounts.
Moreover, the individual ingredients have evidence backing their use for everything from preventing chronic diseases to ameliorating the negative effects of your body’s acute stress response.
Combine this with a strong probiotic blend and an impressive amount of vitamin D, and you’ve got a winning formula.
